Author LAYNE CASE is the owner of AMITY Publications (www.amitypublications.com) and the author of five children’s books – “Charlie”, “Charlie and His New Friend”, “Charlie and His Neighbor” and “Charlie and The School Bully” and “Charlie and His Lost Friend”.
She offers a writing program called “Read Up! Write On! Literacy Rules!” , designed to improve reading and writing skills, as well as math, vocabulary, and collaborative learning skills. “Celebrating Our Differences” is the theme of her program, showing how our differences can positively influence our lives, with the hope of lowering incidents of bullying. Unique to her program is children learn what it takes to become a published author, by writing and publishing their own children’s book. Her goal is to empower her “AITs” (Authors in Training) to make a difference in the lives of others.
Layne is a presenter for Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF), an organization that offers grants to schools who would like to have her visit. She is also the Executive Director of the Coalition for Children’s Book Authors.
Layne has also published a poetry book, “Inspirations from My Family and Friends” and has written a Bible study called “Reading the Bible through Poetry”. AMITY Publications offers publishing service for authors who are interested in self-publishing.
