JOHN DU CANN is best known for the years he spent fronting ATOMIC ROOSTER and his membership of ATTACK, ANDROMEDA and HARD STUFF. Having written numerous hit singles including 'Devils Answer' John decided in 1977 to release his first 'solo' album. As he was then signed to Quarry Management who also managed STATUS QUO it only seemed reasonble to enlist the help of FRANCIS ROSSIE and ANDY BOWN who played on all of the tracks on the album. Francis Rossi also produced same. Also playing on the album was one JOHN McCOY who was later to play with John in Atomic Rooster after his very successful period in GILLAN. Everything was near perfect and test pressingsc of the album were made then due to 'management changes' the release was shelved. This release is therefore the first official UK release of same plus numerous bonus tracks as well as included for the first time ever on CD John's one solo Top 40 hit 'Don't Be A Dummy' which was released during 1979 under the name of Johnny Du Cann.
