All of us folks here at Bull Moose HQ are big fans of Ray LaMontagne and, being in Maine, we've been lucky enough to watch as Ray has gone from performing in small venues around town to playing in the biggest venues not just in our home state but all over the country.  So news of a new Ray LaMontagne album is very exciting to us as we're sure it is to all of you.  This time around, top billing is shared with the Pariah Dogs, a group of musicians who have played with some of the biggest names in music.  On God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise, Ray's vocals stand at the forefront of the songs while the band provides a loose, almost live sounding recording.  The album stands as a testament to a band at the height of their power.  While no longer a Mainer (Ray has since moved to a home in Western Massachusetts where the album was recorded) we'll always consider Ray a local and enjoy his music no matter where he lives.
